Welcome to Swans class!

We’d like to introduce ourselves. We are all wonderful and amazing in our own ways.

At school we work hard and have lots of fun.  We all have a lot of ideas and like sharing these and encouraging each other. We are curious and like to be creative with our learning.  In Swans, we always do our best to follow our school rule, to be kind, safe and responsible. When we do this, it is recognised and we get class dojos and positive play tokens. We also love getting presentation pixies for presenting our work well. We earn marbles for working together as a class e.g lovely lining up, wonderful walking, showing independence...   and when we fill the jar to the top we get a treat.

As a class, we are very kind and enjoy welcoming new children to our school. We are friendly and like to have fun and laugh. All of us enjoy learning about and doing different things at school but we all enjoy school trips, like the one we just did to the Roman Baths. 

Our teachers this year are Miss Wools and Mrs Blannin. There are lots of other adults who help in our classroom and at our school too. We will be learning lots of things this year and reading lots of books. Each time we finish one we add it to our reading tree. We’d love to share some of the things we have been learning about with you.  So far, we have been making mosaics, learnt about our digestive system and teeth and found out about the Romans. 

We’ve done so much already and have lots more exciting learning to come.
